Membership Information

Welcome to Aikido Mutokai

At Aikido Mutokai, people of all ages, from students to working adults, practice hard. Why not spend a fulfilling time training your mind and body and honing your skills?
The time to start is when you become interested!

How to join

1. Please fill out the membership application form (which will be provided to you at the dojo) and submit it along with the registration fee, monthly membership fee, and, if you wish, insurance and uniform fees.


・Membership fee (10,000 yen)

・Monthly membership fee for one month (10,000 yen)

・Insurance premium (if you wish to join)

・Uniform fee (from 6,500 yen, varies depending on size)

2. We will explain the "Rules" and "Dojo Code of Conduct".

3. You can join practice from the day you join.


Eligible Members

Junior high school students and above, no experience necessary
 

Practice Date and Time

Monday 18:00-21:00 or 18:30-21:00

Wednesday 18:00-21:00 or 18:30-21:00

Saturday 9:00-12:00 or 18:00-21:00

Sunday 9:00-12:00 or 18:00-21:00

At first, the instructor will teach you the basic movements one-on-one.
Even if you are late for the start time, you can join in at any time!
The quickest way to improve is to continue even for a short time.

Rehearsal location and schedule

Practices are held at multiple locations, and a "Practice Calendar" listing the dates, times and locations is provided to members.

If you would like to observe or try out the class, please let us know your desired date in advance. We will provide you with details such as the practice location and time for that day. Reservations are required, so please be sure to contact us in advance. Please feel free to contact us.

Membership fee and monthly fee

Registration fee: 10,000 yen Monthly fee: 10,000 yen You can participate in practice as many times as you like!
Please feel free to join us according to your work or school schedule.

Sports Insurance

Voluntary participation

Price: 1,850 yen for those under 64

65 years old and over: 1,200 yen

It is deducted each fiscal year.
Even if you join mid-way, you will need to renew your membership at the end of March each year.

Promotion and Rank Examination

Our dojo is registered with the Aikikai Foundation.
It is possible to obtain an Aikikai diploma.
Examinations are held three to four times a year, and the head of the examinations is Master Seki Shoji from the Head Dojo Instruction Department.

Trial Practice

If you're thinking, "I want to try Aikido, but I'm a bit nervous..." we offer trial lessons (one-on-one instruction) during practice times on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

No uniform required! Easy to move in clothes are OK.
Trial lesson fee: 2,500 yen (cash on the day) *If you join after the trial lesson, we will deduct 2,500 yen from the admission fee, so you can essentially try the lesson for free.

Practice location

Shinjuku and Shibuya wards, Tokyo

We practice in a location that is easily accessible near the station. It depends on the date.
